Terminator Technology Suicide Seed Technology:

These are some video clips from the ‘Terminator on Trial’ event in Ottawa, 20th March 2005. They were filmed by ETC staff, who were also involved in the coordination of the event. The event was hosted by Bob Carty of CBC Radio, with speakers including Gerry Barr of the Canadian Council for International Cooperation; Vandana Shiva, a physicist, environmental activist and author; Percy Schmeiser, Saskatchewan Farmer who became an international symbol and spokesperson for independent farmers' rights and the regulation of transgenic crops during his legal battle with agrichemical giant Monsanto; Colleen Ross, Women’s President of Canada’s National Farmers Union; and various guests (including Pat Mooney of ETC Group) by live telephone link to Curitiba.
