Joëlle was born in Manitoba and moved with her family to the province of Quebec when she was 7 years old. She studied in Montreal and has a degree in International Studies and a master degree in Foreign Politics and International Relations. She loves to travel and has fallen in love over Latin American countries biological and cultural diversity. She speaks French, English and Spanish and is looking forward to learn Portuguese. She started working for ETC in 2010 and is responsible mostly for everything related to administration and finance, logistics, publication production, relations with funders, assisting the Executive Director and helping with the overall management of the organization. In 2012, she started participating in seminars and giving interviews in Canada on some of ETC's issues.
